The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced the group stage draw for the 2022-23 season of the Champions League on Thursday. Many football experts reacted to the UCL draw and former Argentina and Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has a message for teammate Nicolas Otamendi, who is placed in the same group as compatriot Lionel Messi and Angel di Maria.
Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain, Serie A giants Juventus, Portugal's Benfica, and Israeli club Maccabi Haifa are placed in the Group H. The group stage fixtures will take place from September 6 to November 2, making way for the most prestigious FIFA World Cup 2022.
Ahead of the UCL 2022-23 group stage draw, Sergio Aguero reacted to the draw during his livestream on Twitch. He said, "PSG get Benfica... Otamendi, don't injure Leo because I'll kill you, the World Cup is coming... And you're also playing against Fideo (Ángel Di María), Juventus..."
Apart from this, Group C is considered the group of death in the UCL group stage. FC Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Inter Milan, and Viktoria Plzen are included in Group C.
