Indian vice-captain, KL Rahul is not just craving a good inning but he is also looking out for some good luck on the international stage. The batter got dismissed in an unfortunate fashion during the 2nd Test in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy as the Indian openers were tasked to chase just 115 runs.
Rahul struck Nathan Lyon’s flatter sweetly but the ball went on to hit the fielder standing at first-short leg and went straight to the keeper’s gloves. Rahul’s poor form has become a matter of concern for many in the Indian cricket fraternity as the likes of Venkatesh Prasad have continuously raised questions about his presence in the squad at the cost of in-form Shubman Gill.
While Rahul failed miserably in the first two matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Indian cricket fans wasted no time in taking a dig at the Indian batter. Seconds after KL Rahul got dismissed at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, social media was flooded with memes pulling up the legs of Rahul and the Indian team management.
