On the red carpet of the Indian Sports Honours 2023, former India captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma were seen answering a few rapid-fire questions to the Star Sports anchor.
When asked about, “who is more likely to steal the dance floor?” Anushka Sharma immediately raised the placard stating “him”, indicating her choice to be Virat Kohli. Upon seeing the answer, Kohli immediately exclaimed “me”, as if to say he didn’t expect Sharma to choose him over herself.
But when Sharma insisted on her pick, Kohli too accepted that he would be the better dancer between the two of them.
Furthermore, Anushka Sharma happily stated that he (Kohli) loves singing and dancing. Virat Kohli himself told the Star Sports anchor that “I don’t drink anymore but back in the day agar party me ghuske agar do drink ho gayi toh yes (while raising the placard stating “me”, to indicate that he would be a better dancer than Sharma).”
He also stated the following about his dance habit in his younger days, I would - “takeover to the point where people don’t want me there, I don’t care then, do teen drink ke baad, not anymore, but back in the day yes.”
Over the years, Virat Kohli’s love for dance has become well-known to everyone who has followed his cricketing career closely. The former India Cricket Team captain has a habit of shaking his leg whenever he gets a chance on or off the field.
The couple also answered a few other questions like "who is most likely to talk first while watching a movie" and "who is the first person to look at their phone during a conversation".
Notably, the fourth edition of Indian Sports Honours was held in Mumbai on 23 March.
