Tencent has announced that its Spring Season of the PEL 2023, a glamorous franchise competition for Game For Peace (Chinese PUBG Mobile), will start from February 9 and will run till April 22. The season will feature 20 participants, which will be competing for the prestigious trophy and hefty prize pool. The competition will take place in three stages: Regular season, Playoffs, and the Grand Finals.

A total of 32 matchdays will last eight weeks and will be played each week, from Thursday to Sunday. It will be a LAN affair at the Chengdu Quantum World Esports Center. The organiser is yet to unveil the full format and structure, like the team progressing through each stage, map rotation, allocation, prize pool and more. PEL has hosted five games per matchday, and it appears that there will be many similarities in the format of the event compared to the last year.
