MS Dhoni’s fan following is not just among the men’s cricket but it is equally prevalent among the women cricketers too. A moment of the same was captured during the Women’s Premier League 2023 on Sunday (March 5).
During the match between UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants at the DY Patil Sports Academy, a moment was captured which reminded fans and cricket lovers of former Indian skipper MS Dhoni. Hard-hitting middle-order batter Kiran Navgire was spotted with a bat which has “MSD 07” written on it, which captured a lot of eyeballs. Pictures of the same are since then doing rounds on social media.

It is to be noted that the 27-year-old Indian batter had earlier revealed that she wants to play cricket because she dreamt of hitting sixes like MS Dhoni. “I only ever wanted to play cricket because I dreamt of hitting sixes like Dhoni,” she had said.
Navgire played a pivtol role in UP Warriorz first win in the tournament. She played a 43-ball 53 to help her side chase the total of 169 set by the Sneh Rana-led side. Grace Harris (59 off 26) was another important scorer in the match and was even awarded the player of the match.
