Jemimah Rodrigues came up with her maiden international hundred as India women's cricket team went on to score their highest ever total in ODI cricket. Notably, the Women in Blue defeated Ireland by 116 runs in the second ODI of a three-match series at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot to take an unassailable lead of 2-0. Batting first, India posted a mammoth 370/5, in reply, Ireland Women could only reach 254/7 in their 50 overs. 

Coming to bat after winning the toss, India  got a great start as skipper Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal put up an opening partnership of 156 runs in 19 overs. Mandhana got out after scoring 73(54) runs, hitting 10 fours and two sixes, while Pratika scored 67(61) with eight fours and a maximum. After that, Harleen Deol and Jemimah Rodrigues took charge of the innings and added 183 runs for the third wicket.

Harleen Deol got out after scoring 89 runs off 84 balls, hitting 12 boundaries. After that, Jemimah Rodrigues went on to complete her first ODI hundred and top scored with 102 runs off 91 balls after smashing 12 boundaries. India surpassed their previous highest total of 358 runs, and ended up posting 370/5 at the end of their 50 overs. For Ireland, Orla Prendergast and Arlene Kelly took two scalps each, while Georgina Dempsey put one in her bag. 

Chasing the winning target, Coulter Reilly top scored for Ireland with 80(113) runs, hitting 10 boundaries, while Sarah Forbes and Laura Delany scored 38 and 37 runs respectively. Apart from that, none of the other batters could play a big knock as Ireland women's cricket team could only reach 254/7, falling short of Indian total by 116 runs. For India, Deepti Sharma took three wickets, Priya Mishra scalped two, while Titas Sadhu and Sayali Satghere scalped a wicket each.
