
Indonesian team Aerowolf Limax has been topping the charts with 57 points and 26 eliminations to their name on the first day of the PMPL SEA Championship 2022. Behind them is another team from Indonesia, NFT Esports with 53 points and 26 kills. There has been an Indonesian wave at the PMPL SEA Championship as four out of the top ten teams hail from the Emerald of the Equator.
Malaysian squad, 4Rivals also had an incredible performance throughout the day as they secured 48 points and 20 kills in four matches. Thai Org FaZe Clan registered 45 points and 21 eliminations and claimed the fourth spot, with Infinity and TEM rounding the top six. Vietnamese squads D'Xavier and BN United had a forgetful day one performance as they only scored seven points and six points respectively.
The opening day was kicked off with Infinity’s victory in the first game with 11 kills as they brought a similar performance from recent success in the PUBG Mobile Regional Clash. Genesis Dogma took the second play while Faze finished third. The second game saw Boom Esports from Indonesia dominating the playing field as their team obliterated with securing 14 kills.
Vietnamese Eagle Esport took the second spot with four eliminations, while FaZe Clan bagged another third-place finish in two back-to-back matches. The third game was won by Vietnam’s Shine Like Diamond as they had a stellar 14-frag performance. The Indonesian domination once again continued as NFT Esports registered the win with nine kills in Game 4.
In the last game of the day, Aerowolf Limax took home the chicken dinner with 11 eliminations in the match. This along with consistent performance through all games saw them jump to the number one spot on the table. Eagle Esport and NFT Esports finished second and third to conclude an exciting day.
