I n a big update, IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals have been jolted with a massive blow as their star pacer Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out of the upcoming season. The news was confirmed by the franchise on Friday (17 February). Notably, the 16th edition of IPL 2023 will commence on March 31.
In the news reported by Rajasthan Royals, they said that the team is “doing everything possible to support and aid Prasidh’s recovery process from injury and hope to see him steaming in soon.”
However, they also added that after the consultation from the medical team, it has been decided that the 26-year-old will not be able to take part in IPL 2023.
The Indian cricketer on Thursday shared a post with a caption, “Gutted to be missing out so much cricket. Be back soon!”
Notably, Prasidh Krishna last played for India during the team’s tour of Zimbabwe in August 2022. He is since then rehabilitating at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
