Portugal football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has dropped an emotional post on his eldest son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr after the 14-year-old grabbed attention for earning his maiden call-up for the Under-15 Portugal side for an upcoming youth competition, which will be held in Croatia from May 13 to 18. In the tournament, Portugal will take on Japan, Greece, and England. Prior to the tournament, Portugal will attend four training sessions, two in Portugal and two in Croatia, where the tournament will be played.
Ronaldo Jr currently serves Al-Nassr’s youth team in Saudi Arabia while his father Ronaldo has been a part of the Saudi club’s senior side since December 2022. Following the major achievement of Ronaldo Jr, the star Portuguese footballer’s supporters are eager to witness the father-son duo playing together for Al-Nassr in the near future. On his son’s superb evolution, Ronaldo took to Instagram and posted a congratulatory story. He wrote, "Proud of you, son!"

Ronaldo Jr worked diligently for years to break into Portugal’s Under-15 side. Travelling with his father to different countries, he sharpened his playing skills at the distinguished clubs such as Real Madrid, Juventus, and Manchester United. Currently, he is associated with Al-Nassr, the club which is getting the services of the 40-year-old Ronaldo for almost two-and-a-half years.
Ronaldo Jr possesses an amazing scoring feat of 58 goals in a season with Juventus’ youth academy. Ronaldo’s son is eligible to play for four different countries i.e the United States, England, Spain, and Cape Verde due to family links and residency guidelines. Before leaving for the campaign in Croatia, Ronaldo Jr will be expected to take inspiration from his father, who made his debut for Portugal U-15 team in 2001 and racked up seven goals in nine outings.
