Amidst the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 action, cricket fans will get to witness the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 from April 11 to May 18. This is the first time PSL’s schedule clashes with that of IPL. Ahead of the marquee T20 competition, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will organise the opening ceremony of the event. It will be the 10th installment of Pakistan's premier T20 tournament.
A total of six teams will clash amongst one another in PSL 2025, and 34 matches will be played during this event. Islamabad United, who won their third title in the previous season under Shadab Khan’s captaincy, will start their title defense against Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on April 11. Under Shadab’s leadership, Islamabad became the most-successful team in PSL last year and now they will be chasing their fourth title.
