After nearly four years of waiting, PUBG Mobile is officially unbanned in Bangladesh. As reported by several media channels and esports personnel, gamers can now play the popular battle royale game using their normal internet connection without the help of a VPN, as the restrictions are no longer applicable.

The government of Bangladesh banned PUBG Mobile in 2021 following the orders of the High Court division of the Bangladesh Supreme Court after hearing a writ petition against the game, citing it as a “destructive” app.

However, the gamers in Bangladesh were using VPNs and other networks to access the game during the ban period of PUBG Mobile. So this is good news for gamers and esports fans in the country, as the game has officially made its return.
