India capped off another top-class win against Hong Kong to remain undefeated in the Asia Cup 2022. The Men in Blue posted a massive 192 where Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav combined to score 98 runs as both batters scored great half-centuries. But in this scintillating triumph, opening batter KL Rahul didn’t have a fruitful outing as he got out for 36 in 39 balls with a strike rate of 92.31.

Several fans took it to social media to raise concerns regarding Rahul’s poor run of form. But among these comments and posts, a tweet made by KL Rahul’s former Indian Premier League team got special attention. Fans pointed out that the Punjab Kings' Twitter account made a seemingly sarcastic comment as they called KL Rahul’s sub-par knock ‘solid’. The tweet said, “2nd blow for India, KL Rahul departs after a solid 36 off 39.”

The Netizens went off as they saw the word ‘Solid’ and had a lot of reactions. Check out some of these reactions here:

Talking about the game, Suryakumar Yadav played a magical knock of 68 runs in 26 balls with six fours and six sixes with a strike rate of 261.54. Yadav came into bat in the ninth over and had an all-guns blazing approach. He reached his fifty in just 22 balls and also smashed 26 runs in the final over as he hit three consecutive sixes.

Reacting to this performance, Surya said, "Some of them (shots) are predetermined, this format is all about what you think and how you prepare before you go out to bat. At the same time, you got to be staying in the present as well. I felt the wicket was a bit slow."

"My plan was clear. My role was to go in and take the tempo up and just express myself, I just loved it. (Adapting to different positions) you got to be flexible, you should be equipped to bat at any number and I have opened as well. I have batted at all number. I really enjoyed it."
