After the first edition’s grand success, Major League Cricket is set to return to the USA on July 4, 2024. Ahead of the second edition of the MLC, the teams have released their list of the players who are set to ignite the spark in a region where Cricket is finding its feet gradually.
The league’s inaugural edition’s success compelled ICC to provide the hosting rights of the upcoming T20 World Cup to the USA alongside the West Indies. Many reputed stars took part in the first season where the MI franchise-owned MI New York lifted the coercive title to become MLC’s first champions.
With the next edition to commence just one week after the T20 World Cup, the franchises have released the list of overseas players who have been retained by them. Some of the prominent retained names include Rashid Khan, Faf Du Plessis, Trent Boult, Kieron Pollard, and Mitchell Santner.
