The grand finale of the Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown Season 2 saw Reckoning Esports win the coveted BGMI title, taking home the prize money of ₹2 Lakh. The runners-up Godlike Esports earned ₹1.25 Lakh, while the third place team Medal Esports got ₹75k from a prize pool of ₹9 Lakh for the coveted tournament.

As per the report from Esportsgen, there were 2048 registered teams and multiple teams invited to play in the latter rounds of the Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown. After 24 teams competed in the semifinals of the tournament, the day three of the competition saw top 16 teams play against each other in the grand finale, which included the likes of Team IQOOSouL, Godlike Esports, Global Esports, Revenant Esports, and the eventual champions, Reckoning Esports, among others. 

The most valuable player of the Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown was Jonathan “JONATHAN” Amaral, who played for GodLike Esports.

The Upthrust Esports Challengers Showdown had significant partnerships with the likes of Rooter, CellBell, and Taco Bell in its second season. As the official craving partner of the tournament, Taco Bell made its big entry into the Indian esports realm, offering a unique blend of culinary delight to the esports community to enhance their gaming experience.
