Esports is a growing industry in India and it received further push when Revenant Esports became the first Indian Esports organization to be featured on an OTT platform when ZEE5 became the lead sponsor for their ‘E-gaming unplugged’ series. The series revolves around the lives of professional Esports players and it projects the hard work and the determination required to be an esports athlete.

The series is shot at the Revenant Esports grand facility in Mumbai and each of the five episodes addresses the different players like chapters in a book. It is available for free on the ZEE5 app or website.  The CEO of Revenant Esports  Rohit Jagasisa was elated with this announcement and spoke about how this platform allows esports athletes to tell their stories on a national stage.

He said, “We have been at the forefront of breaking barriers in the Indian esports industry, whether it be recognizing and nurturing talent from the grassroots or bringing non-endemic brands like PUMA into the industry. Our collaboration with ZEE5 for the E-Gaming Unplugged series is another addition to that as we unlock an exciting new revenue stream. OTT also offers a level of storytelling to fans unparalleled to other platforms.”

Revenant Esports has been the home of many top-notch esports athletes, who are competing in Battlegrounds India, Call of Duty Mobile BR & MP, and Clash of Clans. The ORG often partners with Esports players from all over the world and has been one of  India's most successful esports organizations with 45+ athletes on eight rosters in different gaming titles.
