Kolkata Knight Riders and India batter Rinku Singh is likely to get married soon with Samajwadi Party MP (Member of Parliament) Priya Saroj. As quoted by India TV, the couple will tie a knot in a lavish wedding in Varanasi on November 18. Before that, the engagement ceremony is set to take place on June 8. Tufani Saroj, who is Priya’s father and MLA from Samajwadi Party that he and his family had a talk with Rinku Singh’s father Khanchandra Singh regarding the marriage with his daughter.
The engagement ceremony is reported to take place at a seven-star hotel in Lucknow in June while the wedding will take place at Hotel Taj in Varanasi. The ring ceremony will be attended by close family members of Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj while some of the big names from politics, renowned film stars, and industrialists are likely to make their appearance in the wedding. Apart from that, some of the fellow cricketers are also expected to attend the event.
Priya Saroj’s father dismisses reports of her engagement with Rinku Singh
Earlier, there were reports coming that Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj have already been engaged. However, Priya’s father Tufani Saroj dismissed the rumours and said no engagement ceremony took place as of now. “Priya is in Thiruvananthapuram at the moment for some work and no, her engagement with Rinku Singh has not happened. Yes, the talks are on between the families but the news of engagement is completely wrong," Tufani told India TV digital.
Talking about Priya Saroj is the youngest woman MP who won the Machhlishahr seat at the age of 25. She has also worked as a lawyer in the Supreme Court after completing her LLB from Amity University. Priya also has a degree from the Delhi University and completed her schooling from Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute in New Delhi.
