Delhi Capitals spinner Kuldeep Yadav left Kolkata Knight Riders batter Rinku Singh after he playfully slapped him on live tv after the IPL 2025 clash between both the teams at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday, April 29. After KKR’s 14-run win over DC, the players from both the teams were having a chat when Kuldeep suddenly slapped Rinku leaving him curious.
After a couple of seconds, Kuldeep Yadav slapped RInku Singh again as the KKR star looked irritated with his former IPL teammate. However, it looked like Kuldeep playfully slapped Rinku and there is nothing serious between the two India teammates. Talking about the match, KKR kept their playoff hopes alive after an important win in Delhi, while DC went on to suffer their second consecutive defeat.

My skin got peeled off as I dived on the practice wickets to stop the ball: Axar Patel
DC skipper Axar Patel revealed his got peeled off while fielding during KKR’s innings. Notably, Axar dived to stop the ball at mid-wicket region but ended up dragging his left-hand. He left the field in pain and was attended by the DC physio. Despite this, Axar went on to play a fighting knock of 43(25) runs as DC were chasing a target of 205 runs.
“The positive was how we restricted them after the powerplay, coming to the batting, even though few batters failed, 2-3 of us contributed and took it so close. When Vipraj was batting there was hope, if Ashutosh was there then they could have repeated the first game. My skin got peeled off as I dived on the practice wickets to stop the ball, but the good thing is there are 3-4 days break and hopefully I will be able to recover,” Axar Patel said at the post-match presentation.
