Priya Saroj’s father confirmed that there hasn’t been any ring ceremony so far, but the two families have held talks regarding the marriage of their children and have come to a conclusion. “No ring ceremony or pre-wedding program has been held so far,” Tufani Saroj told PTI. “Rinku and Priya have known each other for more than a year now. They both liked each other but needed their families’ consent for the relationship. Both families have agreed to this marriage,” he further informed.

Moreover, the SP MLA confirmed that the dates for the engagement ecermony and the wedding festivities will be decided after the Parliament session. “It will be ensured that the wedding functions do not affect his cricketing schedule,” Priya Saroj’s father added.

Over the past couple of years, Rinku Singh has ascended to stardom in the world of cricket after his splendid performances for his long-time IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders as well as the Indian cricket team. He will return to action in the five-match T20I series against England, which is set to kickstart from Wednesday, January 22 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
