Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant was seen celebrating Hardik Pandya's wicket in the IPL 2023 fixture between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans. After a sub-par batting performance, the Capitals turned the game around with an incredible bowling display led by Anrich Nortje.

The South African dismissed Wridhiman Saha and Shubman Gill with two high-quality deliveries. Then came on Indian pacer Khaleel Ahmed, who produced another magical outswinger to square up the GT captain and get him out caught behind. Celebrating this wicket, a joyous Rishabh Pant, sitting in the stands with the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, was high-fiving Delhi Capitals owner Parth Jindal.

Before the start of this game, the Delhi Capitals posted a video on their social media platform wishing their teammate Rishabh Pant a speedy recovery. Top-order batter Prithvi Shaw spoke about how he has been watching Pant's clips of walking and hopes to see him soon.
He said, “I hope you are recovering well. Dekh raha hu tere videos ab dhire dhire chal raha hai (I have seen your videos you’re slowly being able to walk). Baby steps are coming now. Really happy to see how you are recovering.”
Similarly, Axar Patel also talked about how the team has been missing Pant and is extremely with the progress he has made in recent times. He said, “We will be playing back in Delhi after 3-4 years. We will be missing you. I can see how well you are recovering. You are doing recovery pool for half an hour, so that’s a big thing,” Axar Patel said.
