The 25-year-old has been out since his accident with no certain time set for his return. His last competitive innings in cricket came against Bangladesh in which he scored 93 in the first innings of the second Test. Gruesome injuries have already ruled him out of the ongoing IPL, WTC Final, Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup 2023, scheduled to take place in October-November window in India.

Pant had earlier shared pictures from his gym session. The flamboyant wicketkeeper-batter on May 4 (Thursday) shared an Instagram story after he hit the gym for the first time after his car accident. The picture he shared had the gym picture which had a quote that read, “Sports do not build character, they reveal it”.
