The Indian cricket team is in England, preparing for the highly-anticipated five-match Test series, scheduled to kickstart from June 20 with the first Test, set to be played at Headingley, Leeds. The Men in Blue will hope to start on a positive note in the new era with Shubman Gill as their skipper after Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli put down curtains to their Test career last month.
As the Indian team prepares for the high-octane series, the Tendulkar-Anderson Trophy, they were handed a massive setback as star Indian wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant sustained a blow during the net practice. Taking the field after light intensity training a day prior, Pant received a blow to his left arm.

Pant, who will serving as a deputy to Gill, escaped a big injury during the practice session at Beckenham. Pant was seen being attended by the medical team, however, according to a report by RevSportz, it is speculated to not be a serious one.
Soon after getting hit, the southpaw was seen in visible pain and was treated with an icepack on his left arm. However, he did spent some time resting on the sidelines, he returned for a few good shots and expressed that it wasn’t a serious one.
