On Friday, December 1, Rockstar Games, the American video game publisher, announced the release date of the debut trailer of the highly popular GTA 6. The Trailer 1, as it is called on the official X post by the Rockstar Games, will be hitting the screens on Tuesday, December 5, at 9 AM ET (GMT-5).

A few weeks ago, Rockstar Games revealed the December window for releasing the GTA 6 trailer, and since then, the anticipation among the fans for the next installment of this highly anticipated video game has steadily grown. It was widely believed that the trailer for GTA 6 could come out during The Game Awards on Thursday, December 7, but now Rockstar Games have put a stop to the speculation in an emphatic manner with their announcement.

The statement from Rockstar Games about the GTA 6 trailer in November, excerpts of which read, “We are very excited to let you know that in early December, we will release the first trailer for the next Grand Theft Auto. We look forward to many more years of sharing these experiences with all of you.”

“Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about - without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us,” they added.

Vice City coming back: Netizens react

After Rockstar Games announced the release date for the Trailer 1 of GTA 6, the fans wondered whether GTA is bringing back Vice City. The comments stemmed from the announcement post made by the video game publisher on their official X account, in which the picture graphic seemed quite identical to Vice City 2002.

Moreover, it is unknown whether the release window for GTA 6 will be known during the debut trailer of the game.
