Indian team suffered another heartbreaking loss in an ICC tournament knockout game as they were demolished by England in the T20 World Cup semi-final in Australia. The Three Lions registered a historic 10-wicket win as their openers Alex Hales and Jos Buttler posted a record 170-run opening partnership to clinch their spot in the finals at the Adelaide Oval.
The defeat led to many dejected reactions from the Indian team’s leadership as captain Rohit Sharma was in tears after the loss. Similarly, the Indian coach Rahul Dravid also looked unhappy after the defeat as his bad run in World Cups which started in his playing career found its way into his coaching stint.
The Indian fans were extremely unhappy with the result and were demanding some harsh steps from the BCCI regarding the current team. One fan wrote a harsh tweet calling out the Indian opening pair which had another dismal performance as they posted just nine runs.
