Ever since its launch in 2018, Lamborghini Urus has become a first-choice SUV for celebrities. Almost half-a-dozen names own the stylish SUV in the film industry. And now, Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has also got himself one. Sharma has bought the stylish SUV worth INR 3.10 CR in shades of 'Blue Eleos'. Also, the Mumbai cricketer has his car's interior customized.

Being the captain of team India and IPL franchise Mumbai Indians whose jersey colours are blue, Sharma has a special attachment with the shade. And thus, has got his car in the same shade. Pictures by Automobili Ardent show the SUV has gotten a brilliant-looking shade of “Blu Eleos”, which is a shade of dark blue. The entire car, including the front and rear bumpers, is painted in this shade of blue.

On the inside, the Lamborghini Urus delivered to Rohit Sharma is personalized with a dual-tone combination of Ross Alala (cherry red) and Nero (black) for the cabin. In this, while the upper layer of the dashboard and door panels are finished in black, the lower part of the dashboard and door panels and seats are finished in the shade of cherry red. Also, there is a thin layer of contrast silver running between the dashboard and door panels, which also flows towards the center console. The cabin also gets piano black touches on the dashboard and center console. This combination of three contrasting colors makes up for an interesting cabin for the Indian captain.

Apart from the brand-new Lamborghini Urus, Sharma is also a proud owner of a blue-colored BMW M5. He also possesses BMW X3, Toyota Fortuner and his first car ever, a Skoda Laura.

About the car

The Lamborghini Urus is built on the same platform as its cousin luxury SUVs from the Volkswagen group, like Audi RSQ8, Bentley Bentayga, and Porsche Cayenne. However, the Urus is the sportiest of the lot and thus becomes a favorite for someone like Sharma. Powering the car is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine, which is the topmost version available under the hood of the Urus. The engine gives a maximum power output of 650 PS and a peak torque output of 850 Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. Prices for the Lamborghini Urus start at Rs 3.10 crore in India.
