Durban Super Giants started their match against Joburg Super Kings pretty well as they reduced the opposition to 27/4 while opting to bowl first. However, the Super Giants’ bowler lost the plot in the middle overs as Donavon Ferreira and Romario Shepherd wreaked havoc in the middle. With the bat, captain de Kock led from the front, scoring 78 runs off just 52 balls. Kyle Mayers also scored a handy 39 but Super Giants could not chase down the mammoth total set by the Super Kings.
