Indian tennis star Sania Mirza played her farewell match last month in Hyderabad at the Lal Bahadur Stadium. Mirza was visibly emotional as her long and prosperous career came to an end. Famous rapper MC Stan was present at the farewell ceremony and performed his famous songs as a tribute to the tennis legend. Recently, Sania thanked the rapper by sending him expensive gifts.

MC Stan performed his most famous rap song ‘Ek din pyaar’ for the tennis legend. Sania as well as the crowd was seen to be enjoying the song very much. Sania thanked the rapper for his energetic performance later.

Recently MC Stan received expensive gifts from Sania Mirza which included Balenciaga sunglasses, which are worth around INR 30,000, and black Nike shoes worth over INR 90,000. The rapper took to his official Instagram handle to express his appreciation, posting a picture of the gifts and thanking his ‘aapa’ (word for elder sister in the Urdu language) for the sweet gesture. He also wrote his iconic line ‘Tera ghar jayenga isme’ along with the picture.

Fans and the media have expressed interest in MC Stan's Instagram story in which he expressed his gratitude to Sania for the extravagant presents. The post highlights the close bond the two of them share with each other.

It is allegedly said that the tennis star met MC Stan at the Bigg Boss after-party hosted by Bollywood choreographer and director Farah Khan. Many Bigg Boss contestants were present at the party including Abdu Rozik, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shiv Thakare, Sajid Khan, Archana Gautam, and Manya Singh. 

Sania Mirza had a glorious career in which she won six major titles – three in women's doubles and three in mixed doubles. She was named in Time magazine's 2016 list of the 100 most influential people in the world.

After her farewell match, Sania expressed that though she may have retired, she will continue to be part of tennis and sports in India and Telangana. She hoped that her retirement would inspire "many, many Sanias" in the country. Azharuddin praised her contribution to tennis and expressed that he wished her all the best. Several fans expressed sadness over Sania retiring from professional tennis.
