Indian batter Sar faraz Khan perfectly started his Test career by scoring a blistering half-century on his debut against England in the third Test. Playing in Rajkot, Team India was languishing at 33-3 when captain Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja posted a massive 204-run stand with the Hitman completing his 11th Test century.
After Sharma departed after scoring 131, Sarfaraz Khan came into the middle and got off to a blistering start as took an aggressive approach. Khan sliced through the English attack with an array of sweeps and slogs to reach his maiden Test half-century in just 48 balls. This stunning knock included five fours and two sixes.
Celebrating this performance, Sarfaraz Khan pointed towards the stands where his father and wife, had a priceless emotional reaction. Soon Sarfaraz's wife, Romana Zahoor, blew kisses to the Indian batter who aptly responded. Similarly, Indian captain Rohit Sharma also had a praiseful reaction to this performance.

Nushad Khan reacted to his son’s maiden India call-up
As Sarfaraz Khan was announced in the Indian squad, Naushad Khan reacted to his son’s maiden India call-up. Khan thanked MCA, BCCI and NCA selectors and all supporters for picking the 26-year-old. In a video going viral, Naushad said, “I would like to thank everyone especially the Mumbai Cricket Association where Sarfaraz was nurtured."
"Along with it, he also expressed gratitude to NCA where he got experience. I would also like to thank BCCI for trusting in his abilities, selectors and all his supports for praying for him."
