Serie A matches scheduled to take place on April 21, Monday, have been officially adjourned for a period of mourning after the death of Pope Francis on Monday morning. Francis breathed his last at the age of 88. The league made the announcement through a statement. Four games were scheduled to be played on Monday. The title race has come to an intriguing phase in the tournament with Inter Milan and Napoli with 21 wins and eight losses in their 33 outings respectively. "Following the passing of His Holiness, Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A can confirm that today's league games in Serie A and Primavera 1 have been postponed," Serie A announced in its statement.
