Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the ODI series, followed by the T20I series in Rawalpindi, starting today. A major development has occurred ahead of the series. Young pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi has made a tweak in his jersey ahead of the much-anticipated ODI series against New Zealand.
Shaheen Shah Afridi to wear Afridi’s number 10 jersey
The 21-year-old young pacer on Thursday revealed his new jersey number ahead of the ODI series against New Zealand. The left-arm seamer will don former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi’s jersey number 10, Afridi revealed via his Twitter account.

Shaheen Afridi initially wore jersey number 40 while playing for his national side. It is being learnt that this development comes after the pacer was engaged to former cricketer’s daughter which came into the limelight in May this year.
New Zealand to play Pakistan in 3 ODIs & 5 T20Is
This is the first time since 2003 that New Zealand has toured Pakistan. During their ongoing tour of Pakistan, the Blackcaps will play three ODIs and five T20Is in Rawalpindi & Lahore, respectively.
