Former NFL star, Shannon Sharpe was amidst massive uproar after he went live on his Instagram handle while being involved in an intimate encounter. Sharpe’s act stirred massive controversy on Wednesday night, but then he took to social media to confirm that his account his hacked.
Sharpe, who has been a legend of the game, later appeared on his podcast Nightcap were the veteran revealed the details of the incident and accepted that the act accidently occurred. It is to be noted that Sharpe also revealed that he was getting intimate with someone as fans and followers who had joined the live could hear weird noises. The Hall of Famer in NFL, Sharpe meanwhile denied the accusation, claiming that he became a victim of cyberattack.

The former tight-end and one of the greats of the game, after being involved amid controversy, accepted that he was involved in a close act, but also claimed that his social media account was hacked. However, the video was taken down, it only showed a woman’s face, but had voices of moaning from a female and explicit comments by a man, which could be Sharpe.
In the video going viral, the man was overheard saying some provocative comments like, “Let me put this d*** in you” and “that’s my Michelle”. Moreover, the woman also seemed to be addressing the man as “Shannon”.
Sharpe breaks silence on the viral act; claims of account being hacked
The 55-year-old legend while explaining the act, added that he has never gone live on Instagram and claimed to be a victim of cyberattack. “Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working rigourously to figure out -- UNC,” Sharpe wrote. Soon after this, Sharpe appeared in his podcast Nightcap and narrated the entire incident.
“I’m disappointed in myself. I let a lot of people down. This was not staged. I came in, I threw up my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity. I did not know IG Live. I’ve never been on IG Live. I’ve never turned IG Live on, so I don’t know how it works,” Shannon Sharpe said. He even expressed embarrassment for the act adding, “I’m embarrassed. Someone that is extremely, extremely private. And to have one of your most intimate details, the audio heard for the entire world to hear.”
