F or mer India captain and star batter Virat Kohli made a heartening revelation about his daughter Vamika. Kohli is currently participating in the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League and is currently the Orange Cap holder of the season. The 35-year-old batter has scored a total of 661 runs with an average of 66.10 in the 13 games he played for the side. His side is set to clash against reigning champions CSK for their final league-stage match on May 18. 

Ahead of the big game, Kohli made a heartening revelation to RCB’s mascot Mr. Nags about his three-year-old daughter Vamika. Mr Nags aka Danish Sait congratulated Kohli on the birth of his son Akaay on RCB Insider Show. Not only this, but he also joked that Akaay would play for the Indian Premier League and Vamika could play for the Women’s Premier League.

On the show, Kohli made a heartwarming revelation about his daughter Vamika and said that she has picked up a bat. Kohli told Sait, “My daughter has picked up a bat, and she is really enjoying swinging the bat. But I am not sure; it’s her choice at the end of the day.” Notably, Virat’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma gave birth to their first child, Vamika in January 2021. 

Earlier this year, in February, the star couple welcomed their second child Akaay. Coming back to RCB, Kohli spoke about the team’s comeback in the tournament. He said, “The month of May has been very good. In April, I thought they (fans) were going to go into a very dark place. But we found a ray of sunlight. We are very glad that we have made the fans happy again.”
