The Hundred is one tournament which took the world of cricket by storm with a successful inaugural season in the UK. The second edition of the 100-ball format tournament is set to take place from 3 August to 3 September this year and the ECB have now disclosed the list of players retained by the respective franchises.

There are not any major surprises with star overseas players like Marcus Stoinis, Glenn Maxwell, Faf du Plessis, Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues set to continue in same teams going ahead. However, some domestic talents like Tom Banton, Joe Clarke, Liam Dawson and Laurie Evans have seemingly failed to reach an agreement with their respective franchises and will now enter the drafts.
