He further stated that the players have their own doctors outside of cricket who is available for them 24x7. In the sting operation, Chetan claims star players take "fake injections", something the board and selectors are aware of.

"Indian Cricket Team players take injection & get 100% fit even if they're 80% fit.  These are not painkillers. These injections contain Drug which isn't caught in Dope Test", revealed Chetan.

The former Indian fast bowler was also heard talking about how 80-85% of players are generally unfit ahead of selection time, and here they request the selectors to keep them in at least the hopefuls.  He further stated that some star players receive the green signal from the NCA even when they don't have 100% fitness, and in turn push the selectors to make a final call on the squad.

Further, in the sting operation, Chetan Sharma was heard talking about  Jaspirt Bumrah and his extended absence from the Indian team which has been majorly caused by injuries. Sharma spoke about how the team had planned to play Bumrah once against Australia ahead of the World Cup.

Addressing this entire controversy  the BCCI is looking into the matter, as the national selectors are under contract and cannot speak to the media about certain issues.

As per  a senior BCCI official, who talked to PTI on conditions of anonymity, the board will soon take a call on Sharma's future. The reports said,  "It will be (BCCI secretary) Jay's (Shah) call as to what will be Chetan's future. The question is whether T20 skipper Hardik Pandya or ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma would like to sit with Chetan in a selection meeting knowing that he has let out internal discussions."
