Codi Yusuf is a South African international cricketer, who plys his trade as a fast-medium bowler. The The 27-year-old earlier signed a short-term contract with Durham in April and went on to clinch 17 wickets in four County Championship matches apart from also agreeing to play in the T20 Blast group stage matches. In first-class cricket, Yusuf has claimed eight four-wicket hauls and four five-wicket hauls. In 33 matches, his economy has been around three. Codi Yusuf also plays for Paarl Royals in South Africa's T20 league called SA20, and he has managed to take three wickets in the five matches.
Yusuf, who earned his maiden Test call-up for South Africa while with Durham in May, impressed with the Proteas, picking up 10 wickets in two Tests against Zimbabwe, which saw him finish the series as leading wicket-taker. According to the latest developments, Codi Yusuf is all set to make a return to Durham and is most likely to make an appearance in the T20 Blast game against the Northamptonshire Steelbacks.
The South African International will be available to play all the three formats of the game until the start of September, which means that he will be involved in the two upcoming rounds of the County Championship and the group stage of the One Day Cup, set to be played in the month of August.

While speaking about the return of Codi Yusuf, Marcus North, who is the Director of Cricket for Durham, stated that they are really looking forward to seeing him returning to the club this week.
He said, “Codi was a great addition to Durham during his short spell with us earlier in the season. He was heavily invested in the Club and his performances in the County Championship have warranted his return to Chester le Street.” It will be interesting to see how Yusuf will perform on his second return to Durham.
