In a move to strengthen their side, Sadeera Samarawickrama and Dilshan Madushanka are back into the Sri Lanka’s ODI squad. The 16-member squad is announced for the upcoming ODI series that is to be played against Bangladesh. On the batting front, wicketkeeper batter Sadeera Samarawickrama is returning to the side. He last played for Sri Lanka in November 2024 after getting dropped due to modest form. He replaces Nuwanidu Fernando.
Left-arm fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka, is set to make a comeback having been unavailable for the Australia series in February pertaining to an injury. He replaces Lahiru Kumara, who is now injured.
Sadeera Samarawickrama is coming off splendid performances with Sri Lanka A recently
