Delhi Capitals, the former IPL finalists from 2020, had a tough league season last year, finishing at ninth position in a 10-team tournament. Since then, DC have made substantial changes in their squad, and the return of their captain Rishabh Pant is imminent after missing out on last season due to a horrific accident.
The team management of Delhi Capitals brought Harry Brook, Shai Hope, Tristan Stubbs, Ricky Bhui, and Jhye Richardson, to add to their bench strength after a big clear out in response to a difficult IPL last year. Meanwhile, some of the youngsters who will also be playing for DC in the IPL 2024 are Kumar Kushagra, Sumit Kumar, Rasikh Dar, and Swastik Chikara.

Openers: David W arner, Prithvi Shaw
David Warner, one of the greatest batters in the history of the IPL, will continue to open for Delhi Capitals in the IPL 2024 after he had a decent run with the bat last year. Prithvi Shaw, who had a disappointing run with the bat in the IPL last season, will be looking forward to making amends in the upcoming tournament, to help DC with fiery starts at the top of the order.
