Few hours after his retirement announcement, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has made himself available for India Legends in the upcoming Road Safety World Series, starting from September 10. 

Earlier on Tuesday, the first Indian to score a century in all three formats of cricket, Suresh Raina announced his retirement from all forms of cricket, which made him eligible to participate on overseas T20 franchise leagues. 

In the second edition of the tournament, Sachin Tendulkar will lead the India Legends team that also include Yuvraj Singh, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Munaf patel, Yusuf Pathan among others.

"I will play in the Road Safety Series. T20 franchises from South Africa, Sri Lanka and UAE have contacted me but I am yet to take any decision," The Indian Express quoted Raina as saying.

After his retirement decision, Raina, who played last competitive game in October 2021 for Chennai Super Kings against Rajasthan Royals, is expected to play in the inaugural South Africa T20 league to be held in January-February window next year.
