Suryakumar Yadav has been one of the few batters who has been performing consistently for the Mumbai Indians and this is evident through the fact the he is the leading run-scorer for the franchise for the 2025 season of the IPL with 239 runs so far. His high-score of 67 came against the Lucknow Super Giants but unfortunately it was for a losing cause as MI fell 12 runs short of the target. However, his batting records against SRH breathes a sigh of hope as the Mumbai Indians will take on the Hyderabad franchise tonight.

Surya has scored a whopping 434 runs against SRH with a high score of an unbeaten 102 from the 2024 campaign at the Wankhede. In 17 innings, Yadav has smashed 56 fours and 15 sixes against the Sunrisers and boasts a strike rate of 150.69 at an average of 36.17, as the Sunrisers remain one of his favourite opponents to smash around the ground.

Massive showdown at Wankhede as MI take on SRH in IPL 2025

These stats will serve as a massive boost for the Mumbai Indians who are going up against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 17, 2025 at the Wankhede Stadium in the 33rd match of the 2025 season. Mumbai have not had the best start to the season so far with only two wins out of six matches, however their latest victory away from home to DC will act as a confidence-booster as the team will look to capitalize on the same.

SRH are in a very similar situation as the Mumbai Indians and have only won two of their last six matches. They are also coming off a win in their last match against Punjab after a dominant display from their batters, and will be keen to continue the winning form. It will be interesting to see which team is able to carry forward the winning momentum and keep their playoff hopes alive.
