Royal Challengers Bengaluru star batter Virat Kohli opened up on his bond with the franchise and how much love and support he got from the fans over the years. Kohli has been a part of RCB since the start of the IPL in 2008 and has been playing for the same franchise for the last 18 years. In his recent podcast with RCB, Kohli said that not any trophy can overcome the love and support he got from the fans in these years.
"For me, what's more valuable is the relationship and mutual respect that has been created in so many years with RCB. And I'm just going to like see it through now. This is my home. The love that I have received from the RCB fans, I don’t think the trophy can come anywhere close to that,” Virat Kohli said in a podcast.
RCB eye maiden title in IPL 2025
Royal Challengers Bengaluru are currently in great form in the ongoing IPL 2025 and are standing at the top of the points table with eight wins and three losses so far. Waiting for their first trophy from the last 17 years, RCB have a great chance to finish in top two at the points table and finally get their hands on the trophy eventually. RCB have almost confirmed their place in the playoffs after a thrilling win over Chennai Super Kings at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
However, Rajat Patidar and his side will be looking to win their remaining three matches and finish at the top of the points table. RCB are set to face Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders in their last three league matches of the season respectively.
