In the build-up to the World Test Championship (WTC) Final 2023, scheduled to be played at The Oval in London, the cricketers of both Australia and India are making constant appearances in front of the cameras. Recently, the social media team of the ICC (International Cricket Council) caught up with Aussie players and asked them to describe the greatness of Virat Kohli in a few words.
The 34-year-old Indian cricketer, who is a long-standing thorn in the side of Australia, has also won many plaudits from their players, for his consistent performances against them across formats. In the 24 Test matches, Kohli has scored 1979 runs against the team from down under at an average of 48.26, with eight centuries.
Cameron Green, the Australian all-rounder, was quoted as saying to the ICC about Virat Kohli, “The man of India and he has been for quite a while, he’s been leading the team for the last decade and has been so successful.”
