Wake up, wait for Virat Kohli's batting, see him getting out cheaply, sleep. This seems to have developed as the new trend for Virat Kohli fans in IPL 2022. The RCB batter is going through the toughest phase of his cricketing career as he has not been able to score a century in over the last 100 matches.
With RCB set to play SRH on Saturday evening, Kohli fans were hoping to see a big innings from their favourite batter. It started well as RCB were invited to bat first. A wicket also fell for Kohli to come out to bat early and play a big inning for which he has made a name.
But the luck seems to have run out of both parties' favour. Kohli fans could only see a glimpse of the star batter as he was dismissed for a golden duck by Marco Jansen. This was Kohli's second golden duck in two consecutive games. Seeing their favourite batter departing cheaply once again, Kohli fans could not stop themselves from expressing their grief on Twitter.
Users shared their feelings at this event. While some hoped for Kohli to make a comeback, some also criticized the batter for his poor run and also denied to accept that it was the same old Kohli. "This is not the Virat Kohli I know. This is not the Virat Kohli I would ever want to know," wrote one user.
