Chennai Super Kings are locking horns with five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in match 49 of the ongoing IPL edition. After winning the toss, MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings invited the MI to bat first. However, the visitors did not had the greatest of starts as they were reduced to 16/3 after three overs.

However, ahead of the start of the match a brilliant scene was seen during MI team huddle. As the five-time champions gathered on the field for team huddle, Australian all-rounder Tim David was seen giving a pep talk instead of skipper Rohit Sharma being the usual one. Talking about the performance of these teams in the ongoing edition, while Chennai Super Kings are placed third in the points table, MI sit at the sixth place with five wins from nine games so far in the tournament.
