Another thriller in Chennai went to defending side as Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad to register a second consecutive win in the IPL 2021. With the win, the Virat Kohli-led side has jumped to the top spot on the points table. After being put to bat, RCB had posted only 149/8 despite Glenn Maxwell's 59 off 41.

Jason Holder was the pick of the bowlers for SRH as he took 3/30, while Rashid Khan scalped two wickets for just 18 runs in his 4 overs. In return, Despite cruising at one stage, SRH failed to chase the target and were restricted to 143 runs, Shahbaz Ahmed was the star with the ball as his 3 wickets in one over changed the course of the game.
