The UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifiers will witness Malta and England lock horns against each other at the National Stadium(Ta’Quali) in Attard, Malta on Friday night. Both the team are placed in Group B as the Three Lions are placed at the top with six points in two matches while Malta have managed the bottom place with two losses in two matches so far.
Gibraltar will play their third game in the competition without a victory. They dropped their opening match 2-1 to North Macedonia, and their second match, 2-0 to Italy. Since Gibraltar hasn't won a game in the competition yet, their manager, Michele Marcolini, will be ready to make some adjustments to the team's approach.
England on the other hand, have been simply outstanding in the tournament as they have won both their opening games. In their first encounter, the English defeated Italy 2-1 thanks to goals from captain Harry Kane and Declan Rice. Soon after, they defeated Ukraine 2-0 at home at the iconic Wembley. Harry Kane has continued his club form into his national colours by scoring crucial goals in both games.
