After a successful champion season in the  BundesligaBayer Leverkusen will fight for another trophy in Europe as they take on Atalanta in the final of the Europa League 2024 on Wednesday night in Dublin, Ireland. This is Leverkusen’s third UEFA European final after the 1988 UEFA Cup and 2002 UEFA Champions League. 

Italian club Atalanta will be featuring in their first-ever European final, thus becoming the first team to achieve this feat since Lazio’s terrific play in the 1998 UEFA Cup. They are coming through a splendid 0-2 victory over Lecce in the Serie A cup.
