After winning the toss, KL Rahul opted to bat first in the ongoing 1 st  Test. Although the side were handed a shocking blow as the top order failed to convert it to big runs, Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer helped the side steady their innings. The Day 2 of the Test started with Shreyas Iyer in the middle, but the batter did not make an impact as he was soon dismissed. For thereon, R Ashwin and Kuldeep Yadav took the India innings and helped the side to reach 404 with their crucial knocks.

 

After a quick fall of wickets in the second session, it was Umesh Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav in the middle. The new batter in Umesh Yadav blocked the first ball he faced but smashed Mehidy Hasan Miraz for a 100m-six on the second ball he played.

In the 10 balls he faced, Yadav scored 15 runs which included two sixes. Talking more about the game, Bangladesh is reeling at 67/4 after 23 overs. The Bangladesh top-order failed to convert and failed to the Indian bowling attack of Mohammed Siraj and Umesh Yadav.
