Valorant's 26th agent, Vyse, has been revealed and will be released in Episode 9 Act 2. Vyse is a Sentinel agent, known for using liquid metal to outsmart and trap enemies. She was introduced at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon, South Korea, before the final match of Valorant Champions 2024. Check out Vyse's release date, time, abilities, and more below.

Valorant’s new agent Vyse will be available on August 28, 2024, in the Americas. The rest of the world will get to play Vyse on 29 August 2024 after the Valorant Episode 9 Act 2 goes live.

Abilities
Arc Rose (E):
Vyse can place an Arc Rose on a surface where it stays hidden. When activated, it blinds all players looking at it. Vyse can pick it up and use it again, making it flexible for different strategies. However, teammates should be careful because they can also be blinded by it.
Shear (Q):
Vyse uses liquid metal to set a hidden wall trap. When an enemy crosses the trap, an indestructible wall pops up behind them, blocking their way. The wall stays for a short time before disappearing. This ability is great for trapping enemies and cutting off their escape routes.
Razorvine (C):
Vyse throws a nest of liquid metal that becomes invisible when it lands. When activated, it spreads into a large Razorvine field that slows down and damages any player who moves through it. Razorvine is useful for controlling areas and slowing down enemies trying to advance.
Steel Garden (Ultimate):
Vyse’s ultimate ability, Steel Garden, sends out a wave of liquid metal thorns over a wide area. After a short delay, these thorns jam enemy primary weapons, stopping them from firing for a short time. This ability can change the course of a round by disarming opponents and leaving them vulnerable. While jammed, enemies can still use pistols, but Steel Garden’s disruption can be game-changing.
How to Unlock Vyse in Valorant
When Episode 9 Act 2 begins, Vyse’s Agent Contract will be available for players to activate. By playing matches and earning XP, players can unlock Vyse and add her to their roster. The contract will be available for 28 days, and if you don’t unlock her within that time, you can still purchase her later using 1,000 VP or 8,000 Kingdom Credits.

Like other agents, Vyse comes with a set of gear that players can unlock through her Agent Contract. Players can expect these rewards with the new agent.
