With just a day remaining for the much awaited final of the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025, India suffered a major blow as their star batter, Virat Kohli reportedly injured himself during the practice session a day prior to the final. As reported by Geo News, Kohli was hit in the knees while facing a fast bowler in the nets session which forced him to leave the practice.

Virat Kohli was then attended by the physio who applied a spray on the injured area and wrapped it with a bandage. However, Kohli remained at the ground and observed rest of the practice session assuring his teammates and the support staff about his condition.  Later, the Indian coaching staff also clarified that the injury isn’t that serious and Kohli is fit to play the final against New Zealand.
