India were triumphant against Australia in the semi-finals of the 2025 Champions Trophy. India won the game by 4 wickets with 11 balls to spare chasing down a target of 265 runs. For India, chasemaster Virat Kohli once again proved his mettle and showed his experience in guiding India through what was a tricky run-chase. Kohli scored 84 off 98 deliveries, scoring just 5 boundaries and taking more than 50 singles in what was a very patient and well-crafted knock by the veteran.
