The Royal Challengers Bangalore would look forward to a double against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley stadium in the evening match of Saturday's doubleheader. Virat Kohli will look forward to making it special for his fans on his homecoming. However, it won’t be the game that would be the center of attraction as the limelight will be hogged by the former RCB skipper and Sourav Ganguly for obvious reasons. Meanwhile, former cricketer S Sreesanth has made a huge remark ahead of the Delhi-Bengaluru clash.

Kohli and Ganguly made headlines when the two sides met recently in Bengaluru.  Former India pacer Sreesanth said that if Kohli scores a century in the upcoming encounter, it would be a great tribute to Ganguly (Dada).

Speaking on a sports channel, Sreesanth said, "Virat Kohli scoring a century against Delhi Capitals will be a great tribute to Dada." Sreesanth used ‘Dada’ to refer to the former captain of India. Notably, Ganguly and Kohli did not shake hands after the RCB vs DC match earlier in IPL 2023.

Meanwhile, the Capitals would wish to end the game on a winning note by taking down the Faf-led side in the upcoming clash.  Delhi Capitals are still on the bottom-most pedestal of the points table. With merely three wins as of now, the hopes of them being in the qualifying race are tied by a thread. In their last clash, they took the reigning champions, Gujarat Titans down. On the flip side, Royal Challengers Bangalore are coming off as winners against the Lucknow Super Giants from their much-talked-about clash on May 1. The RCB batter Virat Kohli has scored 364 runs from the nine innings in the tournament so far with an average of 45.50.
